Creative Industries 

Creative Industry comprises advertising, architecture, art, crafts, design, fashion, film, music, performing arts, publishing, R&D, software, toys and games, TV and radio, and video games. Creative Industries are also referred to as Cultural Industries or the Creative Economy. The contribution of Creative Industries to the well-being of the economy is immense. The twenty-first century has seen tremendous growth in creativity and innovation, thereby creating numerous and a wide variety of income sources and job opportunities all around the globe. The UK Government Department for Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) describe the creative industries as:

“those industries which have their origin in individual creativity, skill, and talent and which have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property”. Creative Industries have been able to draw the attention of students who want to be innovative and independent in their field, and contribute towards the economy.
