Australia features itself in the list of World’s 10 happiest countries published by Forbes. Australia also ranks 6th in delivering (over)prosperity for its citizen. 5 out of 30 best student cities in the world are in Australia, with Melbourne ranking just second.

Location and Climate

Australia has got a climate that’s as warm and friendly to welcome students from all around the world. But it is entirely possible that you have your own preferences. Also remember the Australian weather is just opposite to that of Nepal. When it is cold here, there will be summer and vice versa. Determine whether you would like to live in big cities or suburbs because cost of living will vary accordingly.

Cost of Living

Financing your stay is one of the most important things for living in Australia. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has set out minimum financial requirements an international student should meet. The 12 moth living cost starting from 1 July 2016 was $19,830 for single, additional $6,940 for living with partner/spouse and $2,970 for a child.

It is important that you notify of your residential address (and any changes) to your educational provider within 7 days of arrival in Australia (or of any move). Otherwise you risk losing your student visa.

You can go to Australia’s beaches simply for the sun and surf or to sail, parasail, fish, snorkel, scuba dive and beach comb. You can enjoy Coastal sight-seeing or visit National parks. It would also be full of pleasure to see birds and animals unique to Australia in the zoos.
