Course Details
If you have a dream of performing on stage and dream of singing, dancing, and/or acting for a living, then a performing arts degree could be the key to develop your skills and build your confidence. You can become ‘triple threat’ performers – skillful in acting, singing, and dancing by studying Performing Arts. The course focuses on all aspects of performance in a broader context rather than providing training in only one form of art i.e. acting, dance, or music.
This program incorporates a theoretical and technical approach to performance and provides students with coherent knowledge of the performing arts. It also examines the new approaches to presentation and production. Students will develop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Confidence in working independently and with highly collaborative group will develop the ability to work as part of a cohesive team. Students will be allowed to focus on a particular discipline or area of practice in the third year of the program.
