KIEC Donates NPR 1.55 Million for Flood and Landslide Relief Efforts

In response to the tragic flash floods and debris flows (mudslides) affecting the Bhote Koshi region and various parts of the country, KIEC has provided NPR 1,555,555 in financial assistance to support relief and rehabilitation for those affected.

The aid package was handed over to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. According to an official press release issued by the organization, the fund was collectively raised through the joint contributions of KIEC’s head office and all its branch offices across the country.

Taking serious note of potential post-disaster food shortages and the risk of epidemic outbreaks, the KIEC family shared that it is engaged in various additional relief initiatives alongside the financial donation.

KIEC has also appealed to individuals, businesses, and organizations to step forward and contribute according to their capacity, uniting to stand with the affected communities during this challenging time.
